Restoration

The line between restoration and repair is often gray. Occasionally, an instrument just needs a complete overhaul and it makes sense to perform multiple repairs at once. This is where a full restoration can dramatically change an instrument for the better. Maybe it just changed owners and the new owner expects to get more out of the instrument, or sometimes the instrument has been played for an entire career and needs major work before it can be properly presented for sale.
